Shekinah Renovations LLC · Service
Plumbing Services for Oklahoma City Homes
Shekinah Renovations LLC handles the plumbing that comes with remodeling and home repair across the Oklahoma City metro: replacing fixtures, moving supply and drain lines for a new bathroom or kitchen layout, fixing leaking valves and supply lines, and repairing the water damage that a leak leaves behind. Because we also do the drywall, tile and paint, the wall gets closed up and finished by the same person who opened it. Free estimates. Call or text (405) 532-3348.
Plumbing That Comes With Remodeling
Most of our plumbing work happens as part of a larger project. A [tub-to-shower conversion](/services/tub-to-shower-conversion) means moving the drain and setting a new shower valve at the right height and depth for the finished tile. A [kitchen remodel](/services/kitchen-remodeling) that relocates the sink means reworking the drain with correct slope and venting and running new supply lines. New vanities, toilets, faucets, tub spouts, shower systems, disposals, dishwasher connections and ice maker lines all get set as part of the finished job rather than left for you to arrange with somebody else after the fact.
Leaks, Valves and Supply Lines
The most common household leaks come from a small list: washing machine valves and hoses, angle stops under sinks and toilets, toilet supply lines and wax rings, water heater connections and drain pans, and hose bibs that were not drained before a hard freeze. Rubber washing machine hoses in particular are worth replacing with braided stainless before they fail, because a burst hose behind a washer can put a lot of water into a floor before anybody notices. When we find a leak, the repair covers the fitting or the valve and also the material it damaged.
Freeze Protection in Oklahoma Winters
Central Oklahoma gets hard freezes that catch houses out, and the pipes that burst are almost always the exposed ones: hose bibs, lines running through an unconditioned garage, and supply lines in an uninsulated crawl space or exterior wall. Frost proof hose bibs, pipe insulation on vulnerable runs, and knowing where the main shutoff is before you need it are cheap insurance. If you have had a pipe freeze once in a particular spot, that spot will freeze again, and the fix is usually rerouting or insulating rather than hoping for a milder winter.
Water Damage Repair as One Job
The reason to have a general contractor handle a plumbing leak is what happens after the water stops. Damaged drywall gets cut out, the cavity gets dried, wet insulation gets replaced, new board goes in, the [texture gets matched](/services/drywall-and-texture) and the ceiling or wall gets primed and painted so the stain does not ghost back. Damaged flooring gets replaced. Cabinet bottoms that swelled get repaired or rebuilt. One scope, one invoice, one person responsible for the finished room instead of a plumber, a drywall crew and a painter that you have to coordinate yourself.
Free Plumbing Estimates
Larger plumbing work generally requires permits and inspection through the city the house sits in, and the right trade partners are brought in where the work calls for it. Describe what is happening and we will tell you what it is likely to involve. Call or text (405) 532-3348 or use the [estimate form](/book). How we handle licensed work
Oklahoma licenses plumbing and electrical work through the Construction Industries Board regardless of how small the job is. We are straight with you about that rather than quiet about it.
You get told what the job actually requires
Some of what people call plumbing or electrical is fixture and finish work. Some of it is licensed work. On a walkthrough you get told which one yours is, in plain terms, before any money is discussed.
The right trade partner is brought in where the scope calls for it
When a job needs a licensed plumber or electrician, that portion is handled by someone who holds the license, and it is coordinated as part of your project instead of being handed back to you to arrange.
Permits and inspection handled as part of the plan
Where work is permitted and inspected, that is built into the schedule up front. Unpermitted work is a problem that surfaces later, usually when you try to sell.
The surrounding work is ours
Opening and closing walls, drywall, texture, tile, paint, and putting the room back together is exactly what we do, and it is usually the larger part of the job.
Letting someone you found online into your house
It is a fair thing to be careful about, and we would rather answer it straight than talk around it. Shekinah Renovations is a newer company name. Jimmy is not new to the trade. He started at fourteen, learned it from his stepdad, and has been doing this work ever since.
- Every photo and video on this site is Jimmy's own work around the OKC metro. None of it is stock.
- We will put you in touch with people we have done work for. Ask on the walkthrough.
- Oklahoma does not issue a general contractor or remodeler license, so for most of what we do there is no state license to hold. Where a trade is licensed, we say so and bring in the right partner.
- The estimate is free and written down. You know the number, and the scope, before anything starts.
- The person who quotes your job is the person who shows up to do it.

Our plumbing work is mostly what comes with remodeling and home repair: fixture replacement, valve and supply line repairs, moving lines for a new layout, and repairing water damage. Larger work requires permits, and the right trade partners are brought in where the scope calls for it.

Fair question, and it is the one we would ask too. Shekinah Renovations is a newer company, but Jimmy is not new to the trade. He started at fourteen, learned it from his stepdad, and has been doing this work ever since. Every photo and video on this site is his own work around the metro, not stock, and we are glad to put you in touch with people we have worked for. He is also the one who shows up for the estimate and the one on site while the work happens.
Oklahoma does not issue a general contractor or remodeler license, so for most of what we do there is no state license to hold. For the trades the Construction Industries Board does license, Jimmy has applications in progress and we will tell you that plainly rather than imply otherwise. Where a job requires a licensed plumber, electrician, or registered roofer, we bring in the right trade partner for that portion. Ask about your specific job and you will get a straight answer.
Usually the same day. Call or text (405) 532-3348 and it reaches Jimmy directly. If he is on a job site with his hands full he will get back to you as soon as he is off it. Most people call two or three contractors and hire whoever actually answers, so we try to be that one.
